Selling my running and driving 65 Falcon project. Replaced brakes, drums, pads, lines, wheel cylinders and upgraded to a dual bowl master cylinder. Replaced fuel tank, line, pump, carb and intake. ARP hardware on intake. New air adjustable shocks in rear. All fluids flushed and changed and replaced filter in transmission. Motor is a 302 from a 68 mustang. Unsure on miles but runs great and very clean inside. Was told by previous owner he had replaced the heads. Body needs work. Quarters need patched and inner rockers need to be replaced. I have a set of inner rockers and stiffening plates that are built specifically for falcon and comet. Only made by a small shop in Pennsylvania, KP Auto, specializing in falcon parts and restoration. They will need to be cut a few inches shorter as the comets were a little longer. Body has been plated underneath to add support until the rockers can be replaced. Top is coming apart at seems so i think it could be fixed. No rips or tears anywhere else. They built 6191 convertible bench seat futuras in 65. According to the Data plate this is production number 100, meaning that is is number 100 out of the falcons, galaxies, and fairlaines built at the Lorain, OH plant. I believe this is one of the first falcon convertibles built for the year. Another clue to this is that the interior code decodes as a ’64. Door tag matches the fender markings for production number. Originally came with a 289. Needs work but is a unique, rare car and a great candidate for a restoration for anyones collection. I have the original steering wheel and a set of side pipes if interested. Don’t need to sell, just looking to fund another project. Price is $6000 obo. Serious inquiries only. Low ballers need not apply. Emails won’t be answered.
